Position Overview 
The Jewish Education Project seeks a full-time Senior Program Manager as an integral member of the Jewish Education Team. This position serves across various areas of work, managing multiple projects and professional development programs, with a focus on emergent lines of work. The successful candidate will develop and implement project plans to deliver expected results, set direction, and prioritize work across numerous projects, while aligning goals and delivering timely results. The candidate will coordinate logistics and run professional development experiences and, as such, be comfortable with both public speaking and group facilitation as well as skilled at written communication. Reporting to the Senior Managing Director, Innovation and National Strategy, this is an exciting opportunity for an education-minded professional to influence Jewish education.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Oversee the annual launch and implementation of our Educator Network strategy.
• Initiate the implementation of projects related to new and emerging areas of work.
• Collaborate with educational team to design and implement professional development experiences.
• Organize, manage, and lead the execution of all aspects of professional development conferences and/or workshops (in-person and virtual) from recruiting and contracting with speakers to program logistics such as event registration and catering; ensure that all programmatic pieces are accurately integrated into The Jewish Educator Portal.
• Track project budgets to ensure spending is within scope and is accurately contracted.
• Lead the project management of various initiatives as identified by the program leadership team.
• Manage project communications and processes across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Establish and maintain relationships with educators and vendors in the field, serving as an ongoing resource and point of contact; ensure vendor billing is accurate by tracking, reporting, evaluating, and managing projects.

Who You Are

• Proficient in project scoping and planning, resource management, timeline creation and budget management.
• Experience and skill in executing a program or event from start to finish.
• 5+ years of project management experience with a keen understanding of integrating multi-disciplinary teams across a program.
• Ability to maintain focus under pressure, be thorough, and keep a positive attitude; ability to think outside the box and to understand both the process and the outcomes.
• Accountable, reliable, and dependable with acute attention to detail, accuracy, and stellar organizational skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to break down complex information.
• Gains trustto build productive and constructive relationships; encourages an environment of teamwork and excellence.
• Adaptable and able to anticipate issues and needs before they arise and take the necessary steps to alleviate and/or mitigate; presents a “customer service” orientation.
• Self-motivated and proactive with proven ability to own/lead/run large scale projects with minimalsupervision.
• Ability to keep multiple projects - and multiple team members -moving forward simultaneously and successfully.
• Knowledge and experience with project managementtools such as:MSProject, Asana, Monday,Smartsheets a plus.
• Demonstrated self-awareness,culturalcompetencyand inclusivity,and abilityto work with colleagues and stakeholders across diverse cultures and backgrounds.
• Familiarity with Jewish education/Jewish communal life preferred.

What We Offer

• Salary in the range of $75,000 - $85,000 depending upon experience.
