This workshop is open to General Studies teachers in New York City only due to being funded by Title IIA.

Just Words® is a highly explicit, multi-sensory decoding and spelling program.

Do you have students in Grades 4-8 who have mild gaps in decoding and comprehension, but don't need serious intervention? In this newly offered Wilson workshop, you will learn how to help your students.

Just Words delivers an intervention addressing a sophisticated study of word structure with explicit teaching of “how English works” for both decoding and spelling automaticity. It is designed for students who can benefit from the targeted word study focus without requiring the more comprehensive intervention of the Wilson Reading System®.

Curricular materials will be sent to the schools of participating teachers following successful completion of the two days. The materials are meant to be used solely by the teacher(s) who have completed the training.

Please note, once you have registered, we cannot refund your order.

All workshops have a cost unless otherwise indicated. No one will be turned down due to cost. If you have any issues making full payment or general questions, please email Sloane Gray.

A Cholov Yisroel meal will be served with each workshop.

Please note that photographs and footage will be taken throughout Wilson Just Words. These will be used by The Jewish Education Project for marketing and publicity.
