Im Ein Kemach Ein Torah (Pirke Avot 3:21)

The Jewish Education Project’s School Food Services team assists Jewish schools across the U.S. to work within the guidelines established by the National School Lunch Program – a federal program designed to assist students from poor families – to provide those children with nutritious subsidized breakfasts and lunches. We provide kosher commodity items to 120 schools and serve as a trusted resource for school administrators, government officials and food producers to ensure that the needs of Jewish students who qualify for these subsidies are met, particularly the diverse and high-level dietary requirements for kashrut supervision among Hasidic and Yeshivish populations. Additionally, we are working to raise the level of knowledge of the importance of nutrition in the students’ growth and development.
