Taking stock of your school and formulating a goal/challenge through a peer-led protocol

Work with your team to review what you learned from the Consultancy Protocol, and explore possible, multiple options and outcomes

Helping Each Other and Exploring Together
An Open Space exploration of technology and Ed Tech themes by our coaches and our guest presenters. Opportunities to continue exploring topics from the morning and more topics suggested by the participants with coach facilitation.

Ideation
We’ll employ a few tools from design thinking to come up with potential ideas for future projects (and potentially for the microgrants).

Gallery Walk
A chance for the schools to share the ideas they have come up with in ideation.

Day 3: Wednesday, August 16th
Implementation and Hacking Your Plan

Articulating school plans
You’ve sat on your idea(s), now let’s check-in and refine them in groups (by schools) with our coaches.

Case Studies
Guided review of case studies relevant to the issues and challenges the schools are considering.

EdTech Playground (continued from Days 1 & 2)    

Developing your Microgrant
Walk through some samples and learn about what a successful microgrant looks like.

Back at School: The Practical Steps of Implementation
Station rotation by teams through activities focused on the important steps of implementing their projects (with a break after two rounds).

  • Developing a timeline and action items for implementation

  • Stakeholder mapping and communication

  • Tech resource finding and evaluating those resources
