Coronavirus COVID-19 for Educators: Resources and Support

RESOURCES AND SUPPORT | WEBINARS | HEALTH AND COMMUNITY

(Updated 3.19.20 at 10:00 am Eastern) We are compiling school-related guidance on how Jewish Day School, Congregation, JCC, Early Childhood, and independent settings are responding and planning in their communities. Please use the sub-menu above to access each of our main sections. If you have suggestions or materials to share, please send them to onlineresources@jewishedproject.org.

Educator Resources

  • The Jewish Education Project
    • Collated Covid-19 Educator Materials and Resources
We are curating and constantly updating our growing collection of annotated resources for Jewish educators in Day Schools, Congregational, Youth, and Community settings. The content of this Google folder is organized by a Table of Contents into categories that include webinars and training sessions from others including content/technology providers, PD for educators in Online Learning, and links and guided support in Judaic content, Emotional Well-Being, and Educational Technology. There is also a Crowdsourcing folder where educators and school leaders can contribute resources and samples of what they are doing in their settings (or send them to us and we'll add them).

Educator Support

We are offering two ways for educators to access direct support from our team members.

  • Educator Support Request
This link will take you to a short form where you can tell us what you need help with and how quickly you need it. As soon as it is submitted, a group of our team members is notified and someone will get back to you shortly.
  • EdTech Helpdesk Appointments
We offer 30 and 60-minute appointment slots that you can book yourself on our daily calendar. These are zoom meetings with our Director of Online Educational Content who can help you choose platforms and tools, direct you to the best training options for your particular situation (and work with you personally), as well as brainstorm options for rolling out your program, working with staff and parents, and helping you to shape and share your content.

WEBINARS:

Please use the Webinars and Recordings sub-menu at the top of the page. We are leaving this here temporarily since links have been sent out to this section. Thank you for your patience as we continue to update and expand our resources.
